Mathmos Lava Lamp - Fluidium

We don't know why Mathmos lava lamps are probably the coolest lamps on earth, but we sure do love 'em.

This fluidium lava lamp, designed by Ross Lovegrove, is made out of injection moulded polycarbonate foot and tip with a moulded soda lime glass body.

Standing at just under two feet tall (20 inches - 51cm) and glows from within when it's on. The lava is colour matched to the head and tip colour giving the illusion of the lava melting from the outer body and floating around inside the lamp.
