WHAT IS EL WIRE or GLOW WIRE?

EL Wire or Glow Wire is a flexible PVC coated fibre that provides a fantastic 360 degree light source. EL Wire or Glow Wire is powered from batteries (making it very portable) or from the mains. El Wire has unlimited uses - FUN, SAFETY, PARTIES (such as the Technoflash Glow Wire), LIGHTING - your imagination is the only limitation!.

HOW DOES EL WIRE WORK?
EL Wire or Glow wire is a copper wire with a phosphorous powder coating protected by an outer PVC layer. The glow wire operates on Alternating Current through an Inverter. When a current is applied to the wire the phosphorous reacts by giving off an electroluminescent (light made by electricity) glow. There we go! El Wire or Glow Wire !
