The Alien Projector is here! Yup, plug this miniature marvel into your games console, DVD player, digi-box, video ipod or practically any other gadget with a video-out and get ready for a big screen experience!
Yes, the AL-100 can project an image up to 6 feet in size (that's measured diagonally of course). Of course it's no match for IMAX, but the Alien Projector is great for a night in playing computer games with friends or just racking up a new high score by yourself.
We all know that those high-priced, super-powered cinematic projectors use light bulbs that cost more than a small car. But the AL-100 Multimedia projector uses a standard halogen bulb you can pick up at most hardware stores and last for around 2000 hours constant use!
Of course the AL-100 is a whole multimedia package, the projector itself has built in sound and amplifier with volume control as well as digital brightness, contrast and colour controls.
1 x AL-100 Alien Multimedia Projector
1 x Mains adapter
1 x Standard Video Component cable (Yellow Red and White 'phono' plugs)
1 x Plug through video box
1 x Projector vertical stand - for projecting on the ceiling
Pretty much anything that can output video through three standard phono plugs will work with the Alien Projector, which supports PAL (European and Japanese) and NTSC (American) video standard formats. It's TFT video resolution is 960 x 240 pixels.
The AL-100 Alien Projector has been tested with the following...
Digital camera's (with video out lead),
X-Box & X-Box 360
DVD players, Digital TV tuner Boxes,
MP3 / MP4 players with video out (ipod video etc.).
The AL-100 WILL work with a Nintendo Wii but you need to put a little thought into the positioning of your 'sensor bar'.
